A Fresh Take on Summer Wedding Design

This summer editorial at The Club at Corazon in Dublin, Ohio, perfectly captures that philosophy. Designed in collaboration with Jess Rene Photos, the vision brought together Palm Springs vibrance and Little Italy romance for a playful yet polished celebration.

From poolside pops of color to refined European touches, every detail was thoughtfully curated to inspire couples who want their wedding to feel like a getaway without ever leaving Ohio.

Color, Texture, and a Touch of Whimsy

The design embraced saturated summer tones: sunny yellows, punchy pinks, and lush greens, layered against natural textures of rattan, linen, and marble. A mustard velvet bar and a “cool girl” floral moment (complete with a bust vase wearing sunglasses) greeted guests with personality and charm.

The tablescape was an ode to modern Mediterranean living. Patterned linens from BBJ La Tavola, airy wishbone chairs, and playful coral napkins that popped against lush, sculptural blooms by Essentia Blooms. Overhead, woven pendants and greenery created a canopy that felt like a chic Italian courtyard.

Fashion That Broke the Rules, Beautifully

The fashion edit was all about a fresh perspective. The bride stunned in a powder blue gown from Lace Bridal Couture, a bold yet romantic departure from tradition that felt effortlessly on trend. Her bridesmaids, dressed in crisp white from Lulus Weddings, offered a timeless contrast that tied the look together with modern ease.

The groom’s mint green suit from Kingme Menswear added just the right amount of flair, echoing the playfulness of Palm Springs while staying true to the sophistication of a European-inspired venue.

The Experience: From Oysters to Aperol Spritz

No Italian summer would be complete without a focus on food and good company. Guests enjoyed a one-of-a-kind oyster shucking experience by Blue Ember Oysters, a luxe touch that brought interactive entertainment and culinary artistry to the celebration.

Later, the party moved poolside for a champagne moment straight out of a postcard. The bridal party, dressed in chic swimwear and white robes, toasted under the sun with oversized sunglasses and sparkling laughter, a nod to carefree, sun-soaked weekends by the coast.

Its Tuscan-inspired architecture, lush greenery, and waterfront views offered the ideal blend of Italian romance and Ohio charm. Every corner felt like a scene from a European summer, proof that you don’t need to board a plane to achieve a destination-worthy wedding.
